Bamboo fabric is created by breaking down the natural fibres within the bamboo plant and using those to create a pulp which is then spun into yarn and fabric. Our organic bamboo is grown and manufactured without the use of any harmful chemicals.

Yes. It is very rare that a mattress is too big for our sheets. Our sheets are really generous (43cm depth) and perfect for deep mattresses or mattresses with toppers.

The thread count of our bamboo sheets is 400 (equivalent to a 1,200 thread count in cotton). Keep in mind the most important factor to consider when choosing bamboo sheets is the quality and weave of the fabric.

Understandably, sometimes there will be situations where stubborn stains are unavoidable on your bamboo sheets. We advocate for a stain remover that does not contain bleach or non-chlorine-based.

We all know it’s easier to throw our sheets in the dryer as they can be difficult to dry in the colder months. Thankfully, our bamboo sheets can go in the dryer on a delicate setting under 30 degrees!

Just like any natural fabrics, on a very rare occasion, it is plausible that pilling may occur after initial use of the bamboo fabric. This is completely normal for natural fibres, especially in response to friction and isn't classed as a fault or defect. As our care instructions will inform you, this issue is usually removed during 4-5 washing cycles. Due to our products being manufactured using a twill weave, it is less likely for pilling to occur than a sateen weave.

It is best to select the delicate setting on your machine and please remember to set the temperature to cold. Furthermore, bamboo sheets are best washed by themselves. Keep in mind that everyday detergents can often leave behind tough stains on your sheets, or various discolouring can occur. Therefore, this means that the laundry detergent you have purchased is damaging the fabric and that is definitely something we do not want! The most commonly bought detergents can contain harmful chemicals. We recommend using a delicate cycle with an eco-friendly washing powder/liquid.
